Adding borked text to images and other simple tricks for n00bs to pass validation for XHTML 1.0 Strict

I know this is against the rules of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), but then again, you cannot expect everyone to play along nicely in every regard. As a minimum, passing the validation for your *HTML-template is still very important, and is of course better than adding nice and good explanations to everything if you forget to close tags, write them in UPPERCASE, and add your memoirs in the alt-attribute. Making my stuff part 1 - design principles

It is funny that I should have some, but I have some guidelines to go by when I create stuff, or something I consider great to have, they are:

  1. There must be a sufficient amount of work done on the background, be it realistic or abstract
  2. The work should be clearly visible from at least across the street, so give it something that makes it stand out. Also regarding visibility, when you want it to show details, make them crisp and clean, for a stylish effect, the rest can be “artistically fuzzy”
  3. What kind of music do think of when you think about what you are making? Consider modality when you make your stuff
  4. And of course, even if it fails in about 9 out of 10 cases (as in most cases you will always end up appealing to groups you had no idea about), consider the target audience of your work
