It has been over ten years since HeXen II

"Even with its graphic superiority, what stands out even more is the level design. From the towns of the medieval times to the pyramids of the ancient Egyptians, Raven has left no detail out."

-Game Revolution, about HeXen II

- Hell was never over

After the fall of the last known Serpent Rider, Eidolon, you would have thought the world would return to peace. This never happened. As Eidolon fell, mortally wounded from your attacks, he summoned the Seven Demons of Sin, Lucifer, Mammon, Asmodeus, Leviathan, Beelzebub, Satan and Belphegor to come and bring the world back to misery once again.

Once again, you play as either the Necromancer, the Assassin, the Crusader or the Paladin to defeat the Demons and end to their vicious reign of terror. There will be no mercy for their evil legions.

- Explore new worlds

What Eidolon managed to unleash, you must defeat. From your starting point in Blackmarsh, central Europe, you must make your way to a Viking settlement, to the height of the Greek empire, to the beautiful gardens of Babylonia, and to the mythical city of Atlantis.

  4. Grinding is only the last resort. You can level up simply by completing certain tasks and by discovering new areas and uncover secrets.
